Royal Performance Company is committed to expand and grow our competition team by offering more opportunities to our dance community for dancers age 5 - 18. Our competitive dance season will offer a variety of options from competing one style of dance to four styles. Placements on a team is based on skill level and age.

Competition Try-outs

Competitive - Each style of dance a dancer may choose to participate in will require a try-out for that style to determine the assignment of a competition team. A dancer can be placed on varying team levels for all styles based on technique skill and age.

Pre-competition - MUST attend the competition information meeting to be accepted into the Pre-competition program.

Tiny Tots - MUST attend the competition information meeting to be accepted into the Tiny Tots program.

Team Structure

Three competition team levels of novice, intermediate, and advanced for dancers 7-18 years of age.

Pre-competition team for dancers ages 7 and older who are new to competition.

Tiny Tots program for dancers age 5-7

Competition Tracks

RPC offers for the novice, intermediate, or advanced level dancer three competition tracks. The three tracks; full track, double track, and a single track allow for flexibility of the dancer to choose the styles of dance; jazz, lyrical, and hip hop to compete in.

Pre-competition will have instruction in all 4 styles; jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop.

Tiny Tots will have instruction in 3 styles; jazz, tap, and ballet.
